My furnace kicks on gas ignites for about 3-5 seconds and then shuts down. Any thoughts ?

Thank you parttime, that is exactly what I did. I'm not that familiar with HVAC so it took me a while to figure out where everything is. I removed the flame sensor, cleaned it up and the furnace appears to be working fine. The wife and kids are warm again. Thank you
