I have a structure in which the electrical service was removed several years ago, but the service drop and meter were left, with a blank cover over the meter socket. The cover has became cracked and half of it has broken off, is there a place where I can get a replacement blank cover? Thanks

I am with Chuck, I would not worry, the problem belongs to the elctric company, they own the meter. It is very unusual for them to disconnect and leave their meter, pulling the meter is the simplest way to drop their power to the building.

When I said the meter was left, I meant only the meter "socket" or "holder". Only that remains with a blank cover that is falling off, not the meter itself, just the housing

Yes, that is what the electric company does. When they shut off power, at least here, they don't disconnect anything, they merely pull the meter out and put a cover over the meter base. At least here, the wires behind that cover are hot on the street side.

So the electric company would come and put a new cover over the meter.

If of course you had the actual wires removed and disconnected or if you just want to pay for one, most of the commercial electric supply houses would have them.

I have answered other questions regarding this service, which has been disconnected and now Kyle wants to bring a single circuit from the main building to this building.

I have already suggested the fuse panel be removed and replaced with a junction box, this meter and service drop should be removed also.
