I have been having really bad headaches with blurry vision and seeing colors that last 30 min to an hour, for 3 weeks now , and a sharp pain in my back right below my shoulder blade in my rids sort of and it lasts 2-3 hours if not longer,I'm 38 weeks pregnant on Friday by the way,I haven't had any protein in my urine or I don't think so the Dr. Hasn't said anything about it,and I haven't had any high blood pressure so I'm lost I went to the Dr. Today for the headaches because I had one that make me cry it hurt so bad and it frustrated me from having trouble seeing with the colors,she gave my a prescription for Tylenol with some pain killer mixed with it I don't recall the name and also told me when I got my next check-up to let her know if they haven't gotten better but I'm just curious for some ones opinion on my situation..

Headaches can be common in the last trimester of pregnancy. As far as pre-eclampsia, as you already know, the doctor looks for protein in your urine as well as your blood pressure. These both are monitored very closely in pregnancy.

Do you have any swelling?

The best thing to do is to take the Tylenol #3's that your doctor gave you. 1-2 every 4 hours as needed for pain, drink plenty of fluids and avoid bright lights and loud noises.

I do inmy ankels but not too bad I don't think.I will try to stay away thanks a lot .

Swelling (edema) is very common with pre-eclampsia. It is usually noted not just in ankles, but in severe cases the entire body as well.

I have a lot in my hands now and feet.and my wrist has been hurting (not any more) for 4 days straight the dr said that's edema . She made me go take some blood tests last thurs but my next apt isn't till this thurs and ill be 39 weeks on this Friday. I just want it over with aleady, last night I went to sleep with throbing in my left leg and it hurt really bad at first (about 20 min) then went numb,the past couple days that's been happening and nothing helps.what dio you think? I wish she would just come out already lol
