Electronic igniter glows & fires up the burners but both the burners & igniter only stay on for a few seconds. This ignition cycle repeats three times before completely not working. Is this a bad igniter or something else?

Must be something else, if the igniter comes on and glows, its not likely bad
I would remove flame senser clean with steel wool or very fine sandpaper and reinstall turn furnace back up and see what happens
