So confused and don't know what I should do?
The state currently has custody of my kids but they live with their father! He is married and they have three other kids besides my two! The state wanted me to go to treatment for smoking pot! The only reason I didn't go is because I now after a year and a half have a good job! I got my kids taken in may 2010 because my ex boyfriend spanked my son so hard he left big bruises on his bottom! I was at work when this happened! I was also using meth at the time! I know I failed to protect my kids and made some very stupid decisions back than! I have never used meth since my kids got taken away and definitely do not talk to my ex and haven't in well over a year! I have two felonies on my record so its hard for me to get a job and I can barely support myself! So since I won't go to treatment they say I have to sign this court agreement that gives their dad custody and I have to pay 400 child support and half all medical bills! My boys are 7 and 6! They barely knew their father before all this happened because he was always in prison and never paid his child support! If I sign this paper I won't have any rights to boys and I will still have to pay child support? Should I sign the paper or if I don't will they just the court order anyway?
