Can I get my record expunged if I never went to court for forging a prescription.
    Hi
Over three years ago I changed the date on a prescription for vicodin. The pharmacist called the police and I was taken down to the police station, fingerprinted and sent home. I have never received any paperwork for a court date since. It is still on my background check and I am looking into getting my record expunged. Do you know the statute of limitations for this? And any advice would be great.
    Thank you

    Hello L:

The only thing on there is the arrest. There's no conviction. It shouldn't keep you from doing anything. I don't know if you can expunge an arrest record.. I'd talk to a lawyer about that.. The record you're talking about will last FOREVER.
