    Good or bad way?
I had a boyfriend for 2 years. We broke up a few months ago over conflicts... recently we have been kind of remending our relationship slowly.

I have gotten praised for my positive attitude about things. There was one sentence that I didn't quite understand he said to me.

"you have so much to offer, and you seem to be headed down the right path, even if not for me then somebody."

Does this mean he no longer wants me in his life romantically and prefers I had down the right path for someone else?

    Thanks

I think he means that although it may not work out with you, you still are a good person and eventually will find someone else. I think he is trying to end it without really hurting your feelings. I'm sorry. :/

Sorry, but from my personal experience, he might as well defend himself from being the first to pop the question - for you guys to be 'officially' together again. Hate to give you false hope, maybe the one before me is right, but I myself usually say these kind of things when I'm confused and insecure and don't want to scare someone of, but take it easy. Other things should show you in time how he feels, I wouldn't stick to that statement too much. After all, words are nothing in these kind of situations. It's what he (and you) does that matters.

Actions speak louder than words. So he might say that and it might sound like he is thinking if you two are possibly not together in the future, after you did go on a break for a bit, he just has that in mind and will say that. But did you ask him what he exactly meant by that? Do you both see each other together in the future or not? Actions always tell how much one wants the person in their life and wants to pursue to keep them in their life. Trust I know actions speak louder than words.

Never assume, when you can ask him directly what he means.
