My daughter in laws boiler has broken down the landlords are trying to get it fixed by Thursday - if not it will be after Christmas, they are dropping off some electric heaters but she has no hot water and 5 children one who is disabled and needs 3 baths a day. Can anyone help please?

Heat water on the stove, and wash then from the sink. Or the tub. Nobody can perform miracles here... until they can fix the boiler, and they are trying, they aren't going to have hot water on tap.

I've known people that had to do that for years... not just a week or two.

Put the water out side and after the sun rise the water become hot.

Its winter here... put it outside and it gets colder or freezes.
