I'm a Plaintiff in a civil case regarding a debt. Recently my attorney withdrew from the case and gave me my file. In it, I discovered my medical records. Although they were not relevant to the case, my attorney had obtained them without my knowledge or consent. What actions can I take against the attorney as well as the agency that gave them out without my consent?
