Can a parent file for back child support after age 18 in Illinois?

Back child support (i.e. court ordered support that wasn't paid) can be collected at any time until the custodial parent's estate has been closed.

Retroactive support (support from a period prior to the filing of a support request) is allowed by Illinois law at the discretion of the court.
