Hi,

Here is my situation, I am an International student from India and did not file Form8843 for the year 2005 because till that time I neither had worked in US nor had my SSN. Now I am filing both 1040NR-EZ and also 8843 forms for 2006.

1) Do I need to file form8843 for year 2005 too?
2) Will that be a problem for me later on?

1) You can if you want to, but the IRS will not really care if you do not.
