Kenmore elite dishwasher won't fill MOD. # 665.16293400

You will have to get a meter, cut power off to dishwasher, and check the solenoid on water valve, first, with an ohm meter. If it has continuity turn power on and very carefully check to see if it is getting 120 volts with meter on "volts." There is an overfill switch in the circuit before the solenoid. You should be able to fix this easily if you use the meter correctly, just never have voltage when testing for ohms. The only thing that can be bad other than the above is the timer, and if all other things work it should be okay. You can pour in a bucket of water to test and see if it will run.
