    Could it be twins?
Here is my story. My lmp was 10/11, I took a pregnancy test 11/6 and it was positive. I had some spotting a light cramps a couple of times. Then on 12/4 I began spotting a little heavier, but not enough to concern me yet. (I know some cramping/spotting is normal). I still contacted the doctor that day and they wanted to check my HCG level which was 13,000. Then on 12/6 became heavy enough to concern me so I went to the emergency room. They did an ultrasound. My husband and I both saw 2 sacs(both empty?), but the sonogrammer(?) never confirmed what she saw. (I did see that it said fetal A and fetal B). They also checked my HCG again and it dropped to 10,000. They sent me home and said I was having a miscarriage. I have been bleeding since 12/6 and I just passed the baby on 12/16. I did see my obgyn on 12/14 and had my levels checked again and they were 6,000. My question is: Could I have been pregnant with twins and could 1 still be alive even with the decrease in HCG? And if it was twins, wouldn't I miscarry both?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I wasn't pregnant with twins. Still trying to get pregnant again with no success. :(
