I have an oil painting of an old barn and it has old barbed wire fence in the landscape,it is signed 'william' in the bottom right corner, can you tell me anything about the artist?

I would assume that if he only signs William he is either very known or not known at all.

Not very helpful, I know. All I can offer you is that there is an artist named William F. Renzulli who has painted barns, barbed wire, and then barns with barbed wire.

Here's a link to his website:

And here is a link to his blog where you can see his barbed wire and barns:

I don't think he's your guy, though. He predominantly uses watercolor, pastel, and acrylic. It may help if you upload an image of the painting.

It would also help if we knew your region. I'm assuming the midwest, but that's a pretty unfounded assumption.

Best of luck. Sorry I wasn't very helpful.

Also, Bill Guffey. He does more with oil. This is probably a long shot too since he typically signs Guffey, but here's a link to his blog and a similar oil painting to what you described. Again, though, it's signed Guffey on the bottom left.
