How do I get on well with people, in general without meaning to cause any trouble?
    Evening Answers,

I've just recently ended a lot of 'toxic friendships', so to speak with some girls named-

    Heather
    Eddy
    Kate

However, I'm a 22-year-old young man who's told that I'm not aware of the difficulties of the outside world as we perceive it to be. I have a very strange, yet 'unforward' way of socialising with general types of people in all walks of life. I've tried explaining that I can't help it, but get reeled into certain types of situations. It seems that however hard I've tried, friends are trying to spoil my happiness and stop me from moving into independent living the moment I plan on moving to another Co. in England, or it seems that family just don't see 'eye to eye'. I've tried explaining that I'm trying not to mix with toxic friends. The reason why I've mixed with toxic peeps in the past is to stop myself from getting peeps annoyed with me. Now what do I do? :) Over to you guys, I guess :)

I think the basic question is why you care if the "peeps" are annoyed with you. Who says you are aware of the difficulties of the outside World? Don't the vast majority of people live in the outside World?

I don't understand why you are moving into independent living. Where do you live now?

I'm moving into independent living in a few years time. I care why the peeps are annoyed with me, to protect my own reputation :/

    Any suggestions? :)

If you already hung around with toxic people and others, you make your own bed as to what others think. Perhaps you should consider what they think before you make new friends, and consider your actions for future dealings.

At this point, you often have to cut clean and start making right choices now, no matter what others think

Your friends are trying to keep you from moving into independent housing in a few years time? A few years?

    Why worry about that now?

Being annoyed with someone and destroying that person's reputation are two different things.

Why don't you tell us what the problem is? It makes no sense as it stands now.

Yeah that's too true. I have to learn how to assert myself, howsoever I've often felt bad about moving on from other peeps as it's difficult seeing the same peeps everyday. However I'll start taking the advice- thank you to all the peeps, who've commented. I appreciate it :) And I'll move into independent living sometime soon, just not now. But pretty 'soon' maybe? I don't know, only my progress an individual would tell. Fr Chuck's very right though, so 'Thank You' :)
