Ayat 61 to 62
That hindu and non muslim if they only believe allah and the day of justice will get reward?

BTW, its not chapter 1, but Chapter 2
This ayah is talking about those who believe in Allah and in the last day and do righteous deeds.

If any Hindu/non-Muslim believes in Allah alone, and his books, messengers, angels, destiny, last day, and he is doing righteous deeds, he is no more a non-Muslim.

Muslim means one who submits himself to Almighty Allah.

However, if a non-Muslim believes in Allah AS WELL AS other Gods too, he is a Mushrik (one who associates partners with Almighty Allah), and there is no reward for Mushriks
