Wiring aquastat to low water cutoff
Going to have to follow the wiring diagram on this one, but basically the lwco should kill power to the aquastat in the case of low water.
After wiring per directions, pushing the test button isn't shutting down the burner.
Hmmm. That's odd. It is a new lwco right? What happens if you disconnect one wire at a time on the lwco? Do the burners shut down when any of them are disconnected? Im sorry, I probably won't be of much help on this one. I would have to be there to put my tester to things to see what is happening. Is there a tech support number you can call for the boiler, or lwco mfg. They should be able to help you out. There is always the slim chance that you got a faulty lwco. Please do let me know what you find.
We're going to go over the wiring process again, for the third time. If it still doesn't do what it
Should,I'm going to try a different model. Like you said, I may have got a bad one.
I installed a new LWCO,different model, same manufacturer. It works like it should. I believe the
Other one was a returned item and the dealer just resold it, without checking it out. Right now
I'm going through the process of trying to get my money back.
Hey, glad you got it fixed. Them bad "new" parts can drive you nuts. Thanks for the update. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you and yours also.
