Okay so there is a boy that I like and he told me that he liked me, but that was like last month so I have no clue... And we were talking today in studyhall and there was laughing and lots of flirting. He texted me first and usually its me who texts first. I want to go out with him and I'm okay with holding hands and kissing but I don't want to make the first move. He and I have both had other boyfriends/girlfriends. He is very serios with the relationships. I don't know what to do?

Well, if you guys get along that well you I don't think you have much to worry about. Maybe he is worried about the first move also?

Never make the first move. You always want the guy to make the first move so then you know that he wants you and it's not just you wanting him. If he's serious about relationships then just always lighten the mood when your with him and just take it one step at a time.

I think it's a good bet that he still likes you, especially if he flirts with you and texts you a lot. Also, I would definitely recommend NOT going any further than kissing, especially in middle school. And about the first move... hint to him that you want him to ask you out. Hint to him almost obviously, because guys are terrible at taking hints. Still, hint. If there's a dance or something coming up, mention a lot about how you want a date. You could even say there's this guy you like that probably/might like you back, but you're afraid to make the first move.

In the mean time, though, keep being friends.

For starters, someone will end up making the 1st move. Why not make it you? I mean, it's not that bad! Go up to him and hug him or something like that. I made the 1st move when I didn't want to; but it's worth getting it over with.
