It's unfortunate that your GF has felt it necessary to hide you from her parents all these years - is there some specific reason for this? Maybe you need to meet with the parents so they can see that you would be good for their daughter.

The only specific reason is that her dad would get hurt at the time of marriage and that people will talk bad about him and also cause she is the only daughter.

Is arranged marriages more common in your country or culture. Have you considered having a elder male from your family go talk to him?

Also never answered, why if you have been dating for 5 years have you not officially meet her father. I can understand that he would be very upset to learn she has done this for all this time without his permission.
