I have a year old mini long haired daschund. He usually is very perky, etc. This morning I put him out to go to the bathroom. He wouldn't go - I had to walk him out and stand with him. Then, he's been laying around more than usual and follows me more than usual, sitting between my legs or wants on my lap. His ears seem to be a little droopy and he looks sad. Should I be concerned? I just have an instinct -

As long as he is up to date on his shots, I would give him a day or 2. If he isn't better before then, I would get him to a vet Friday. You do not want him taking a turn for the worse over the weekend.
