    Single mother
    I am a single mother my sons father and I are divorced he lost all rights to our son I get no child support he has no visitation. He is currently in prison I'm getting remarried and my fiancˇ is relocated for work 2100 miles away. Do I need a court order for my son to go?

    Can you define lost all rights for us and was it court approved?

    He has no visitation it's been over four years since he has seen our son

    Yes the judge ruled no communication unless he files with the court

    That is different from no rights. It means he may be able to get visitation if he applies to the court and they approve. So yes, I would apply to the court for permission to move. I doubt if it will be denies though.

    Agree, it means he has his rights, but will have to file in court to get use of them. So yes, you need to get court approval of the move. This is far from him not having any rights
