    Chainsaw dilemma
I have a shindaiwa chainsaw that I haven't started lately... It is a 2 cycle. I would like

To know if it is okay to use just a touch of starter spray in the spark plug area to try and

Get it fired up. Thanks for the input... Kellyw.

If you do put a very small amount, those motors are not designed for a lot of pressure and you sure would not want it to blow up.

Pulling the air filter and putting a drip or two of mixed fuel is probably a better idea. Set your chain break and hold the throttle in the "open" position. If it dies continue the process it should start to pull fuel.
    Good Luck

Hi all... I sprayed just a tiny bit of starter fluid in, and it works like a charm. Thanks kellyw
