    Furnace gas valve not opening
Regarding my Bryant/Payne 383KAV gas furnace: At startup both fans cycle as expected and the HSI gets red hot, but the gas valve does not open... no flame. It continues this cycle over and over. I have been unable to find any reset switches and have tried tapping on the gas valve solenoids. Any suggestions?

Check to see if you can hear the gas valve click. Dirty burner or no gas pressure will keep it from lighting. You will need to check for 24v at the valve when its time for it to light. If you don't have 24v at the valve you may have a bad control board.

No click and no voltage at valve so I am guessing control panel. Wonder if I can buy one online and return it if it doesn't solve the problem?
    Thanks I appreciate your help!
