Thanks tickle for your response.
I have not seen him eat grass today. He just sits on the lawn glaring. He always wants to be in the house. I wonder if he may be constipated although he has not made the motion that he has to go to the bathroom.
A trip to the Vet is probable
Seems like half of what I answer lately 'seems like pancreatitis', but it is a fairly common problem for depressed dogs who vomit and don't want to eat. Until, or unless something else is likely, we should consider it. Even a mild case can blow up into a full fledged storm if the dog, and we, are unlucky. Best thing is a trip to the vet's. Since tomorrow is probably the soonest, give nothing but water, or ice chips as any food will stimulate the pancreas to 'work', and can aggravate an existing condition.
Cairns are tough little, scrappy little Scotsmen, and something is really bothering him. Best wishes.
I agree with the other one. If your cairn terrier isn't feeling well, there's a chance that the reason why he's sleeping at your lawn. So, he can simply eat grass easily and faster than usual since he's outside already.
