I've known my girlfriend since middle school. She was a grade lower than me so when I went to high school her family moved to another state (we weren't together at this time). I'm now a freshman in college and she's a senior in high school. We got back in touch and started dating. She then moved back to the state we went to school together in (I never left the state). She's been here for a couple months and I thought things were great. Then, one day, she tells me that she isn't happy in this state and wants to move back to the other state. I'm in college so I can't just follow her. It hurts so badly and I don't know what to do. How can I get her to stay?

Why would you want her to stay where she isn't happy?? For you to be happy she has to be unhappy? Rather selfish.

Try just keeping in touch.

I think you guys should learn to make time for each other remember she has goals too and I know you do also, you can beg a plea and hope for the best but if not do your very best to stay in touch with her and trust her with all your heart.

Have you asked her why she is not happy. What is it about moving back that would make her happy.

Also remember this is not JR any more, and she may have changed greatly and what was fun trying to relive some old times are not working out, at least in her mind.
