I am an American born female who married my Tunisian husband in Tunisia in 2009 and we've only been living together for less than a year before I discovered his ALCOHOL drinking habit. I no longer want to be married because of this and his cigarette smoking and I need to know if I can file for divorce from the United States or do I need to file for divorce in Tunisia? We have no children together.

If you are living in Tunisia with him, where you were married, I do think that you will have of be divorced in that country.
