Hi I hope you can help. Today my girlfriend has split up with me. We have been together for 4 years. She is 8 months pregnant. Last week she was beening funny with me and asked to keep away from her house. I use to go up every day.Yesterday she sent me a text saying its over so I text her back but no reply. I went up today after I haven't seen her for 3 days and she told me to go home. She went to the loo and she said I want you to go before I come back. I waited for her she said go home or I will ask my mom to ask you to leave. Her mom came and asked me to leave. I saw her dad and I told him I loved her he said give her some space and he would get in touch. Her mom sent me a message saying all her phones will be off and not to text or call her I have to wait for her to get in touch. IM MISSING HER. I keep on texting her but she won't text me back.

Should I not text her or should I keep on telling her I love her and my daughter I am 22 and she is 20. I need help because I'm going mad keep on crying.

She is almost ready to have a baby, she is probably scared ****less. Back off, write her telling her you love her and that you understand and that you will give her some time and space but let her know she just has to call you and you will be there.

Don't take offence but is the baby yours? If so, when she is ready to have it, she might want you there. Be patient, it's a scary time for her.

Oh Gosh guy she is 8 months pregnant!! Do as she says and leave her alone period. She will call but for now her needs come first.

My guess is she is scared as it is overwhelming to have a child and all the responsibilities. Support her by giving her space... as someone told me once "their policy in life is to always give people what they want" and this way you have respected them. Hard to do I know, however my thoughts are with you. I hope she and the baby are safe.

Seriously, what the hell, though? That's some messed up stuff, especially if it's your kid.

I don't know what to think, women. I saw this music video today, also, with a girl sining about how she could dump her boyfriend any minute and have him replaced in a day. What the hell is going wrong with people's upbringing these days? DO we just let women do whatever they want when they're feeling touchy, moral judgements be damned?

There's something seriously wrong with all this... Just because you're upset DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO WALK ALL OVER PEOPLE! Yet that is exactly the way it works.

Yeah, you're right. That was uncalled for and I appologize for taking the thread in a personal and unnecessary direction... That's still his kid, though, I mean he has a right to want to be around. To say otherwise - I mean, isn't that terribly unfair? These texts, the going to the bathroom and telling him to leave, getting the parents involved, etc... Doesn't seem like the best of behavior to me, even considering the circumstances. I could just be terribly bitter, but it seems to me he has a very legitimate interest in being there or, at least, nearby!
