    Gt235 break safety switch?
    On my John Deer GT235 it starts with my foot on the break as expected, however as soon as I take my foot off the break it shouts off. Is there a safety switch that needs to be replaced?

    Check the safety switch under the seat, it kills the engine if it "thinks" you are not seated.
