These are two 14 year felonies, they county/state charges that I forged or altered a PBT log while on probation and they are trying to ruin my life with these huge charges for a not so huge offense, to make it worse they came with something called sentence enhancement which makes each crime a 28 year felony.
Any thoughts or advise I have a lawyer, I have a legal background so please good/knowledgeable advise only

Definitely get an attorney to handle this post conviction matter. Altering stuff on probation is definitely a no no and they are not too happy with you. The enhanced sentencing would only come into play in certain circumstances - are you sure they are going to do that?

It sounds like to me, they have a weak case, and want to ask for the moon, guessing or hoping to get you to plea to what would or should be still too much time for the punishment.
But it is only a guess, only the DA or the staff know why they are asking for almost the max possible.

I think it's a matter of vengeance
