Just install a Kohler K-R648 facet and the cold water side does not work. I tried connecting the cold water connector to the hotwater pipe but still no luck. I tired connecting the hotwater connector to the cold water side and it works. Where should I be looking now. Does the connector hoses on the facet come off and if so how they appear that they will not.

If you swapped the hoses and the cold never supplies water, you have a blockege in the supply line or angle stop. Disconnect the cold supply riser and place the end in a bucket. Slowly open the stop. If you have no water, the problem is in the line or valve. Could be a kink in the line, disconnected washer etc.
