    Bernoulli's Equation
    An incompressible fluid is flowing up an incline through a pipe with a constriction. The height of the incline is 5 m and the narrow section of the pipe is above the wide section. The velocity of the fluid in the wide section of the pipe is 4.00 m/s and the velocity of the fluid in the narrow section of pipe is 9.00 m/s. The pressure of the fluid in the wide section is 250 kPa. What is the pressure in the narrow section of the pipe (density of the fluid is 1000 kg/m^3)?

    You mentioned Bernoulli's equation - have you tried to apply it?

    constant

    In the wide section you have v = 4m/s, z = 0, p = 250 KPa, and = 1000 Kg/m^3, so you can determine the value of the constant. In the narrow section you have v = 9 m/s and z = 5m and is still 1000 Kg/m^3. Solve for p.

    I was guessing it had something to do with Bernoulli's equation, honestly I have no idea. I missed class the day it was taught and now we have a test on it tomorrow and I can't figure out how to solve the problem to save my life
