I feel like I have worked so hard on our relationship and we have been doing so well,the other day she called me, conversation started great! how are you today,sleep well? Hubbys check didn't come in again, should me in within 24 hrs,I said,it is illegal for them to hold it, they have to deposit it,she became more angry at me when I reassured her that he would get it within a day,I think she started the argument just so she would not have to pay me the 300.00 she owed me,I just don't get it~~~~~! Heartbroken

Twice a year isn't so bad with any 25 year old, and when money is owed, tensions can be high.
I can't read between the lines but I'm going to hazard a guess: she and her husband have money problems.
I don't think I would have been so 'reassuring' about how it would be there in a day, how it's illegal to hold it, and all that... because she might be lying. And since you don't know if she's lying or not, there's no percentage in going on about the paycheck. She might have blown up either because she was lying or because they owe more and more and she really wants to borrow more. But again, I'm just guessing. It's just the statistical probability: money.
