In what way are you wanting to know if it is "ok"? From a legal sense, yes, it is legal. Some may feel it is OK even with the age difference, others may not. That becomes a very personal choice. What is acceptable at 16 in one country may be different from another country and different within families.

It may be more important to know what her parents think. Do you know? How did you meet? How long have you known each other? Have you met in person? Where are you located?

Ask her parents because they are the ones to say what okay, and what's not for there daughter.

You can like her all you want, wait till she is 18 to start doing anything about it.
