    Water from the city
My wall is no good, I need to get city water tap they have 3/4, 1in,1-3/4&2 .I'm getting the 1 in one. My home is about 3000 feet from the city tap I'm thinking of a 1 -3/4 line or can I go with 3/4

Way too much friction loss with 3/4 @ 3000ft. What's wrong with the well? You will be paying a lot to trench 3000 ft. plus the piping and meter.

Yes at 3000 ft have you had estimates? What is the city charge for the connection?

But I would go with the largest you can afford. I am also surprised the city building inspector has not told you the min size they would allow for that distant

    Charlea...

How many bathrooms in the house?

Do you have or are you planning on installing a lawn sprinkler system?

Let us know and we can tell you more, OK?

Check with your local inspector, but I'd suggest piping this up at 1.75"... should be plenty for 4 bathroom house even at the distance you stated... ;)

Charlea, I would also contact the mining co. In my area they could be held liable for the loss of the well. Good luck
