Dog dry skin?

Dogs, like people, get dry skin from being indoors too much, not enough of the right foods, lack of brushing (we scrub our skin and brush our hair), and age (assuming they don't have any disease as well).

So... fresh air, good brand of dog food with maybe some added egg yolks, cut way back on baths and don't use much soap, rinse well, and brush their coat well especially as they age.

Try fosh oils. Salmon oil, cod liver oil, can of sardines etc... You can pick up capsuls at the vet or health food store. You can also try running a humidifier around where he sleeps.
