Ask her to tell you just how hard it was! You give up everything. You have no money for anything but diapers and baby things. You can't go anywhere, do anything with friends, get away at all. You are tired all the time. You are up at all hours of the night. The 'cute baby' times are few and far between, dressing him or her and taking pictures, those are just tiny moments in time. Then you are faced with a child who wants, wants, wants, and you can't afford any of it. Then they rebel and fight with you about everything. You have a hard time finding a nice man who is willing to be saddled with a child who isn't his and willing to support the two of you.

You can ALWAYS get pregnant when having unprotected sex, even protected sex. You are getting negative test results because it's too soon, and negatives aren't reliable - you have to keep testing. PLEASE go to a birth control clinic and think very hard about what all this means, and what your future holds. Your boyfriend needs to too; he's just as responsible as you are for a child.

Signs are no help because we get all of them even when we aren't pregnant. Tests are the only way to know.

Your BOYFRIEND needs to chip in on the tests and any expenses for birth control! If he is just a boy who could care less about any of this, dump him. Start with the phone and the phonebook - try Planned Parenthood for starters. Many clinics are free. Otherwise the taxpayers are paying for you and your child for the next 18 years, on welfare (after you turn 18; for now your parent or parents have to support you).

IF your period is not due till the 9th, you need to wait till after you don't get it and do the test. It may be slightly early to do a HPT>

But yes having a child at a young age means you don't go to things like you used to. In fact to go out means 20 min of packing baby things, and always considering the baby in all trips. It is not hanging with friends. It means that most of the time the teen father still wants to run with his friends, go to ball games and is not going to be there.

Honey, you need to wait until you miss your period. When you do, make sure to test using first morning urine as it contains the highest concentration of hcg (pregnancy hormone). Make sure to follow the rest of the directions very carefully.
