    Hi kimberlygw,

    There is always a chance, but not due to her father being a twin. Twins come from the mother usually in one of two ways... although there are a number of situations that can make it more likely, such as fertility medications. She may release more than one egg, which can be hereditary from the mother's side and could result in fraternal twins, or an egg may split and result in identical twins.
