80s or 90s movie robot saves woman with a baby
I am trying to remember the name of a movie from the 80s or 90s which involves a robot saving a woman with a baby. The woman is carrying the secret baby in like a jar or something in a backpack and has to get across the city to the ocean to a ship that will be able to save it. The robot/guy helps her get across the city safely and at the end of the movie you see them at a dock on the ocean and she pulls the baby out of her backpack and people on the ship hook it up to machines. I don't remember much else about the movie except for the ending. It has been bothering me forever though because I can't remember the name of it. Please help me!
