    Restraining order in wa how close can they live?
    I have a restraining order in wa the person it is against is moving to the same town that I live in. How close can they live to me? The order is for domestic violence

    Generally the order will specify that the restrainee can't come within x distance or can't come into contact.

    Depending on how large a town, moving to the same town may not violate the order. If you are concerned go to the town police with a copy of the order. They may be able to prevent his moving.

    Agree, the order normally specifies a certain distant. The other reason is why they are moving, just to harrass you ? Or for a job or some other reason
