I have a Carrier Model 58sxc100-jg furnace that intermittently fails to start when the thermostat cools down to below the set temp. The thermostat is a Honewell (1 yr old). Battery has been replaced in the Thermostat. . If I reset the system, (shutoff and Turn On) the furnace starts up and runs fine. I also have an electrostatic filter system attached that runs fine. What could the problem be?

Sending gas to vent odors, not rusty water around the bottom of the motor
