I have renewed my residential lease in state of Florida for another term of 12 months and now 5 months later I cannot afford the monthly payment. Can I break the lease by giving the landlord 60 days notice? There is nothing in the lease regarding early termination.

No you can't give him a 60 dyay notice, that does not legally let you out of anything. You could explain that you can't pay and don't want to put him through a lengthy eviction process and he may just let you out, likely keeping your deposit. Legally you owe for the unit until a new tenant moves in or the lease runs out.

Plus FL is the worst place to try and break a lease. The landlord is not required to try and find a replacement tenant.

Your best bet is to do what ballenger suggested and see if the landlord will let you out rather than deal with an eviction.

Agree, you can go and talk to the landlord, he may allow you out. But he is not required to. He can require you to pay the rest of the lease.

As noted and I agree FL is the worst place, since the landlord is not even required to try and rent the place after you move out, he can leave it empty and sue you for the money.
