How do I block someone from my e-mail account inbox
I wrote a couple of days ago about some woman contacting me through a pen pal ad, who now wants me to pay a fictitious BTA charge at the airport before she'll come to Ireland.
I followed your advice, and checked out the charge and everything, but still, after ignoring her follow up e-mails, I still can't block her fro my account.
I need to know how to do this, but am still new to computers, so need instructions that are techno-babble free, as I don't understand any of that stuff.
I asked a friend near me who's a computer programmer, and was left looking like a dog that's just been shown a card trick by his answer, which could have been in a language from another planet for all the sense it made to me.
So could you please help me here, as I want to stop this persons ever more threatening/pleading messages.
I use a gmail account, and that's about all I can tell you, as all the stuff about operating systems etc is just so much gobbledy-gook to me, and I don't know what system I'm using.
My computer is an ASUS X5DIJ laptop, and that's all I know about it, so if that helps, all the better.
I'm ata loss for what to do here, so any help you can give is great, just keep it very, very simple, or you'll lose me completely, just like my friend did.
Thanks again for all you earlier help, it saved me not only a lot of money, but a lot of heartbreak as well.
You're the best!
How do I block someone from my e-mail account?
I'v followed the answer you gave me earlier, but still don't know how to block someone from my account, as the Create Filterb section of my gmail account is very confusing for me, as it doesn't actually explain how to block someone.
I am very new to computers, and don't know what I'm doing a lot of the time, and need to block someone from my account, but still can't seem to do so.
I use the Google Chrome set up for my gmail account, and when I tried to block the person I don't want communication with, it just confused me even more.
I have learning difficulties, and get very frustrated at times when I'm trying to find a solution to the problems I encounter while e-mailing, and get confused by technical terms.
Is there an easier way to block someone, as I really need to stop the e-mails I'm getting from the person in question?
