My friend knows I am totally in love with him, she thinks he likes us both (but he looks at her like he does any other girl). We came up with she would let me ask him if he likes her just to do a little check, and no matter what he says we will be friends and she will ask him out (My mom and dad don't like me me dating much yet and I would need there okay) and if he says no it is most likely for the best, but if he says yes I will be sad!

I did not tell her this, but it might make me cry, and she just met him I have known him for 5 years and liked him for 2! She has only known him for a month at the most! I really need help too! Do I tell her I would be sad and see if she will not ask him out or do I just become a third wheel with my very good young child hood friend?

If she knows that you are totally in love with him and is still going after him then she's not that good of a friend! Tell her how you feel about this guy. If she's a good friend she will understand.

Thanks a lot, I really like her and I am having best friend trobels too, so she is nice to have around. But I don't know I want to date this guy 'cause I don't want to mess up the great friendship me and him have we are very close so do I really want to go out with him 'cause if we break up it would be weird and I could just let her go for him and when they break up then it would be weird for them not me... Miamonkey, the first thing that sticks out to me is that your parents don't want you dating very much. Would they be okay with you dating this boy? If there is a chance they would say 'no', then leave the boy alone. No sense getting hopes up only to have parental disapproval squash them.

Is he allowed to 'date'?

Do not ask him how he feels about your friend. If either of you want to know how he feels about each of you, you should ask for yourself. It keeps the chances of misunderstandings and hurt feelings down to a minimum.

It may be that all of you need to wait a little longer before trying to have one-on-one relationships. I think you are still looking for the answer to whether you want to take a chance of losing his friendship. Since you sound like you are probably rather young, I would take the friendship. They seem to last longer over the years.

Okay I hate this but, I am falling in love with my best guy friend (BGF), and I don't know if he likes me. And to make matters wores, the guy I said me AND my friend like is this guy! This is a differint question though. I want to know, do I risk my BGF and I's friendship for a few dates; when we break up it would be weird. :( I REALLY like him a lot and have for two years or so. But what if he does not like me and I put my WHOLE friend ship on the line for this, then what!? I would be REALLY sad then! And I am not even sure my mom and dad want me to date him! I tried to just forget about this, but I just keep looking back to him 'cause he is so freaking CUTE, nice, sweet, and a sholder to lean on that is always there. So please just help me know what to do!

This happened to me when I was 16, and I wish I hadn't acted on it. It ruined my friendship with him. Only you can decide whether you think it's worth going for it. Just remember, crushes fade, but real friends are there for life.

You won't know how he feels until you ask. It's possible that he likes you back, but it's also possible that he only sees you as a friend. So just be prepared for both possibilities before telling him how you feel.

However, I would say that if you two were really best friends, you would find a way to stay friends afterwards, as long as both of you put in the effort.

When it comes to this type of situation, it's easier to stay friends with someone that you've been good friends with, rather than someone you don't know so well.

I am in love with a good friend of mine and want to know if he likes me back. We have a lot in common, we are both home schooled, we both love most of the same shows movies and we always hang out when we are at our home school group (a place kind of like a school with just fun classes, then we go home and do REAL school) and we are in the same class (a class on talking on stage and in front of big crowds wrighting speeches have debates, things like that) and ALWAYS sit by each other no matter who sits down first.

We talk at least once a week (becaus we are both busy with school and such or it would be more often) he invites me over and things but I think people are wondering if there is something going on with us so I just tell him I am busy that day or I will talk to my mom about it, things like that.

And last week at home school group the teacher asked if any of us wanted to do a speech in front of the WHOLE home school group, both him and I rased our hands and first thing he did was ask me is I wanted to do a dual speech with him (where two people do a speech together) and of course I said yes!

And a different day he said to me, "Hey you got new boots", and another time he noticed I got my hiar trimmed, most guys don't see things like that let alone things that are so small! I mean my hiar was hardley trimed at all! But if you have any little tricks to use to see without asking him how he might feel PLEASE tell them to me! Ask me if you need any more info! And please just tell me by what I have told you about him if you think he likes me or if he LIKES me!

I am trying to remember how guys and girls interacted when I was your age. It was tough because we had to run from dinosaurs a lot .

Seriously I am about 99.999992% sure he likes you.
Where he sits by you a lot and pays attention to you at school in front of the other guys is an excellent indicator he has has eye on you.:D

Also when a guy hangs out with a girl when not in school usually means he likes you otherwise he would be somewhere else.

But to ask if you wanted to duo speech in front of everybody is the one that tells me he has noticed that you.
He sees you have a great personality and you are smart ( I can see that just from how well your question was thought out and put together , your punctuation was the only "not great" part)
And he is smart enough to work at being your friend , so he must be a good "catch" too.;)

Actually I'm 100% sure he likes you and it sounds like you two will be having some good times as good friends.:cool:

Why not just talk to the guy just you two and trade phone numbers so you can talk. You may be to young to date, but you can talk, as for the friend that likes him, you should be straight up honest with her and let her know how you truly feel, rather than play along and be deceptive. That's what real friends do, be honest even if it causes sadness, or even anger for a while, because real friends find a way to be friends.

Please don't start more questions about the same subject, in different forums, that's confusing.
