    Pressure problems physics?
    Suppose the force xerted by the air on one face of a cube is 8820 newton.each side of the cube measure 30 cintemeter.calculate the pressure on this face.

    Pressure is calculated by dividing the force applied to a surface by the area of the surface. Here you have been given the force in newtons and you can calculate the area of the face of the cube from the dimension you were given. Post back with the answer you get and we'll check it for you.

    pressure is force per unit area...
    P=F/A
    force is 8820 Newton
    to make calculations in SI unit, change the side measurement to meters i.e 0.3m..
    area of surface is 0.3 x 0.3 = 0.09m^2

    Pressure - 8820 / 0.09 = 8820 x 100 / 9 = 98000... :)
