How long can a Crown be out of your mouth before the tooth moves

I wouldn't be so concerned with the tooth moving, I'd be more concerned about the tooth decaying and abscessing. The longer the crown is out of your mouth the less chance you have of being able to have it recemented. You may end up having to have what is left of the tooth removed.
