A spray-like leak on plastic tube water line to Freezer right near the base.
It is a slight spray right before the tube goes into the frezzer door base. I do not think I have any room to cut it out so is there any type of tape or liquid compound that could repair it? Not sure how to get the hose out of the door. This unit is about 6-8 years old. It is a GE side by side refrigerator / freezer.

That refrigerator may be the one that was recalled because GE failed to seal the door with GE Silicone around the edges where the plastic inner liner is attached to the steel door. To repair it you will need to remove the door and lay it on a flat surface like a table. Remove the screws under the door seal (mark first) and carefully remove the inner plastic part. Clean it well. You will then be able to get at the plastic tubing which you will replace with new fittings (tighten very carefully and rig up something to pressure test). Then put a good bead of GE Silicone clear caulking (Make sure it smells like vinegar or you have the wrong kind.)($5-7.00 a tube)around all surfaces that seal. Don't skip any surface or it will be a disaster when moisture is sucked and frozen. If there was moisture inside the door let it dry well before re-assembling.
