    Pending on a background check
Hello all, me and my exboyfriend got into an altercation n 2006 we were both arrested and received signature bonds... I agreed to take domestic violence classes but found them to be really expensive plus I was transitioning from the army @ the time, anyway I didn't do the classes and found out n 2008 I had a warrant... so when applying for jobs I was getting denied because it was coming up "PENDING" on my background... I just recently went to court for this and was told I have to complete the classes... so my question is with the warrant lifted will it still show up as "pending" on my background check? And if so when will the "pending" come off?

    Thanks and advance (:

From what you described it will stay pending until you do these classes. And if you don't then it sounds like they will either put another warrant out for you. Take the classes and get it over with. If you can't afford it then inform the court and see if they can lift this pending for you so you can get a job. Good Luck.

Were they going to drop the charges and dismiss the case after you finish the classes ? If they will still do that, after the warrant, you need to jump on that deal.

So more info about the plea deal ( if there was one), if not it would show up as a conviction?
