Me and my girlfriend have been dating for about a month and a half. I don't really have a problem hugging her or anything, but I'm too afraid to kiss her, or even hold her hand. She's told me that she's ready to kiss any everything, but I just get so nervous when ever things start to even get slightly intimate. I could use some advice, any and all suggestions are much appreciated!

Could inexperience be a factor? Is she your first girl friend? How old are you?

I haven't had too much experience with girls honestly, but she's not my first girlfriend. I turned 16 a month and a half ago, and she's turning 17 in Dec.

Whether its intimacy, flying, or spiders. The only way to overcome fear is to gain courage, through knowledge. In other words, taking your time and get comfortable with this person, and see what happen.

LOL, some of us need more time than others to get there. No shame in that. Sometimes fear I a healthy thing, that makes us slow down and think before we act or speak.

In time will come courage to face your fear, and deal with it, when you are ready.

Be a good boyfriend, and enjoy each other. And don't let yourself be pushed until YOU are ready, and you will be.DO NOT be intimidated because she is ready, and you are NOT.

How did you two get together? You weren't afraid then were you? LOL, I suspect one day you will forget about the fear because you will want that kiss pretty bad.
