I have been single for a while and have decided to set up a dating profile, while I was browsing the guys profiles I noticed an ex of mine had a profile on there, when I looked at his ideal date he had described me.. right down to hair colour and length, body shape, eye colour, personality everything!
We finished a long time ago and don't talk now. I guess I am wondering if he might not be over me. Its just the details were so specific, more than just a type he likes.

Anyway, I would be flattered that you were described as the person that he would like to meet. At first I thought it was superficial, a certain body type, hair colour, etc. but when you said right down to the personality, that is a little too coincidental.

I don't think there would be any way for you to know more, other than a good guess, about what he's looking for, without talking to him, or sending him a message.

I don't think that is so strange really.

Not all of 'everything' was bad or wrong. I have always said I wish I could pick this trait, that build, those values, etc from every man I'd ever dated, and make one perfect one.

And all that he is now requesting for dating material, is all good.

I would just consider it a compliment.
