I installed a Porcher Renso Toilet and am finding it blocks regularly. The unit has a setout of 220mm and comes with an 80mm adapter to fit a 140mm setout. It's this adapter that keeps blocking. Is this a common problem? How do I fix this? The floor is timber so I could move the pipe to a 220mm setout would this be the best fix?

Please restate your question in terms I can understand. This is a floor mount and not a wall mount isn't it? Please explain "set out of 220 mm" (about 8.75 in) set out from where? The wall? The toilet is floor mounted with an "s" trap into the floor. The distance of the waste pipe hole from the wall is 140mm (5.51inches), the waste coming from the toilet is 220mm(8.66 inches) from the wall. The unit came with a 80mm adapter allowing for the gap. OK! I think I understand. You're attempting to mount a 12" rough in bowl on a toilet flange that sets only 8.66 inches from the wall.
You were giver a "adapter" ( a 3" offset flange) that brings the flange out to 11.66 from the wall. Am I correct so far?
If I'm correct then here's my take on your problem.
I don't know what you've been told but we don't like to offset a flange only two inches. That's just asking for trouble. A three inch offset guarantees that you'll have blockages. My advise would be to take up the floor and extend the closet bend out 11.75 inches and install your toilet the regular way. Good luck, Tom
